30th September, 2010. India put on high alert. 50 cities being air guarded by IAF. Section 144 enforced in all the major cities of India. Since the pre-independence era, India has not been under such a scanner;
I was told once that longer you wait to seek something in life; more is the satisfaction once you achieve it....
India has waited for six decades to listen to this historic announcement, every individual has voiced his opinion, has even muttered his personal solution to this burning agenda. As the decision came government had prepared to deal with a situation where India would tear itself down to pieces, and why it shouldn’t, we have all seen what happened in 1992 or in 2002. But, is it the same India that existed eight years back…?
I am a student; from where I stand right now I am not in a position to see what the kattar leaders of ours are plotting. But yes, I can clearly see what the youth of India or shall I say the backbone of our country, is thinking. From where I see, I can visualize a prospective, where the generation next is exhausted by this obtuse contest. In this long wait for a favorable result, we have definitely realized that actually there was nothing we were fighting for. The words like “self-esteem” and “faith” have now become “foolish ego” and “superstition” for my generation. More than who gets the 67 acre land; we are concerned about putting an end to this ire. The youth today, be it Hindu or Muslim is concerned not about who will win this battle but about where will the outcome of this hapless war lead India to. Amidst all this tension, we stand united for the betterment of our countries future. Religion, Faith, Loyalty, Servitude are no more bound to a Temple or a Masjid for us. We intend to be supreme by our thoughts of progress, by our deeds of wisdom and by our belief of Indianism which stands way above the feelings of Hinduism, Islam or Sikhism. There have been many occasions when I and my friends have said that the youth needs to wake up n do something about some particular issue now; it has to act to get things straight. Today, when I see this mature face of new India, it fills my heart with great pride. The most awaited change has now arrived.
India, if you are listening, then we the generation next today announce that we are now an educated and intellectual bunch of people who have a new definition of religion in its dictionary. We believe in unison, we believe in the word us, we believe in INDIANISM. Vision 2020 prognosticates India as a superpower, we the youth of India shall live that dream, no matter what comes. There’s no Hinduism, there’s no Islam, there’s no sect, no temple, no masjid, no Ayodhya, that can pull us back now. We today refuse to be a part of any imprudent slaughter. Today on the 30th of September, 2011 we pronounce the beginning of a new rationale India.
I apologize if I have hurt anyone’s secular or non-secular feelings. May India be the one who comes out victorious from this decision and not any particular sect………… sb
